PHORK, BAOJIAXIANG, SNOWHOUS, MD James. Pivovar, Phi. Late Breakfast presents a night of Live Electronics. Neal Reinalda's project, the People's Higher Order of Royal Kinship, has blended everything from techno to footwork to Chicago house and more. Equally comfortable with left-field electronics as he is gorgeous piano compositions, the music of bod [包家巷] defies categorization. The experimental project of producer Ice Truck, Snowhous blends dark moods and foreign sounds with intricate beats. Sonic explorations by Matt Dell. Is it for the club? Is anything? Is the whole world a club? Is nothing the club? Ryan Pivovar's brand of electronics features glassy synths and developed rhythms. Phi, The solo project of Philip Meyer (Chollas). Simple elements warp and build into diverse polyrhythms and cascading sounds, like hearing synapses firing in chorus.
